Dedicated to traditional values,The Bickford Home was established in 1967 as a home for disabled veterans. Our home provides  a good quality of life for the elderly and those in need a little assistance. Attractive interior and park like grounds, friendly staff, and a family atmosphere invite our residents to relax and leave the routine chores of daily living to us . The Bickford Home is an adult care facility  licensed  by the New York State Department of Health. Our small size of 24 residents means that everyone is an active part of our home. About Our Facilities

The Bickford Home is an 1860s victorian home located on the Main street in the small village of Macedon, NY. conveniently located to  restaurants, library and churches. We are located one and a half blocks from historical Erie Canal, and 5 miles from Hill Cumorah, (site of the annual Mormon Pagent). We're within 25 munutes of Strong Memorial Hospital (A major teaching hospital) and Rochester General Hospital (known for their coronary care unit), and 20 minutes from the Canandaigua VA Medical center. Our home provides the comforts of home while caring staff meet the needs of the residents. In doing so, we dedicate ourselves to the principles of dignity, humanity, and customer service.
