About Our Facilities
Built in 1867, The Bickford Home for Adults is a large Victorian style home located in the former village of Macedon, New York. We are tucked between the town’s Catholic and Baptist churches, perfect for our residents who would like to attend a mass or service. The Bickford Home is also only a short walk to the local library, several restaurants, and the American Legion. For the health and well-being of our residents, our home is only a 20-minute drive to the VA Medical Center, where our residents are free to attend a daily program for enjoyment. We also fare our residents to and from their scheduled doctors’ appointments either at the VAMC, the doctor’s office, or the three other regional hospitals all less than a half hour away. We dedicate ourselves to providing the comforts of home while creating a safe, enjoyable environment for all our residents to share.
